Collage

As our adult brains develop--the analytical, guarded, critic, also grows--our simple, unbuffered intuitive intelligence gets buried.  I love the intuitive collage process because it can help to bypass the analysis and product focused art.  It's simple, lightweight to carry while traveling, non-threatening, very visual and easy to begin even when I have low energy.  My intuitive collage process has grown through a combination of my own practice of process art, mixed media exploration and soul collage techniques.  Other's such as Seena Frost (Soul Collage) and Stewart Cubley (the Painting Experience) have been an important part of the foundation for my collage to tell my own story and fuel larger works of art.
